Who's to say? Anyone who's ever stood next to someone smoking a joint. Smoke all you like, but please don't act like it's some kind of wonderdrug brainbooster. If that's how you perceive reality, perhaps smoking DOES cause hallucinations like in the film.

Lawyers and psychiatrists love pot. And I mean LOVE pot. Think about it, think about there jobs. That beep is so much easier to put with when you're high. And they smoke up to 10 grams a day, they can afford it easy.

Did it ever occur to you that maybe there ARE rocket scientists and lawyers who do smoke, but don't admit it because they're afraid of being stuck with one of those BS labels you listed?
Rasta man? Yeah, like some extremely successful rasta men like say, a little guy named Bob Marley? Yeah, he was such a loser. Not successful at all.
That of course ties in with the hippy label. You mean hippies like the Grateful Dead, The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, Jefferson Airplane, and countless other extremely successful musicians? Yeah, all a bunch of losers.

this thread is just too funny, i only realised vanburenboy was joking about half way down oh and on the subject of pot damaging your mental skills, i am a heavy user, and since becoming so my exam results have actually improved, stick that in your bong and tan it. or not, whatever your preference

vanburenboy: dude, are you serious? this movie is a comedy. see requiem for a dream or something. in this movie, they cite a case of a 16 year old boy murdering his family with an ax because he was smoking weed. i dont know about you, but that is one of the most ridiculous things i've ever heard. this movie was made a by a church, and all the ignorant religious authorities were clearly not authorities on marijuana, because they got just about everything wrong.
