just thinking about the climax, when the dead Ruy Diaz de Vivar rides out of Valencia, at the head of his army, smiling on his horse, the organ music in the soundtrack, the sun over his shoulder, and the narrator telling how El Cid stepped from history into legend.

Me too. I just watched my DVD for the first time the other day. Rosza was definitely one of the greatest film composers of all time. -

Me too. The first time I watched it was like an epiphany, eheh. Wich reminds me, the organ track isn't available on the OST, is it? Thanks a lot in advance.
