I simply refuse to believe that the parachutes are %100 going to work as intended every time, afaiac it really is just a gamble with your life, and for what? an adrenaline rush? You know what else gives you a rush? ****ing CRACK COCAINE but it is illegal because of the health risks but **** it, lets just allow people to jump out of a ****ing plane with a pair of Rebel Wilsons underwear right?

I have an insane phobia of heights, I used to have a somewhat recurring dream where i was sitting on top of a really tall and really thin structure, and there was only enough room to SIT, I could not even cross my legs there was so little room, and in my " dream mind " im thinking tht the second my body gives in and falls asleep, i'm dead. Its ****ing terrifying when it is happening, thank god i aint had that dream for a while now.
I remember the urban legend that if you are falling from a great height while in a dream, you could go into some kind of mental shock or a coma if you do not wake up before hitting the ground. -

That's nothing, a real man jumps out with no chute of any kind, holding a gun, and grabbing on to a fellow sky diver with a chute. Then the guy refuses to open his chute, and you pull the chute cord just in time, potentially injuring your knee in the process.

It's something I've always wanted to do. Going HALO jumping is on my bucket list. I can't imagine anything on Earth being more exhilarating than jumping out of a plane 40,000 feet up, getting to see for thousands of miles, the curvature of the Earth, the stars at their clearest, being so high above the clouds, and plummeting toward the ground at terminal velocity.
What a way to feel alive.
