What if potential rape victim turned the tables?

She then offered the story of how this scenario happened to her on a NYC subway late at night and she started speaking in tongues and started rolling her eyes back into her head and the creep changed his course and backed off.
That is an interesting scenario and it also does make some sense, as in using crazy victim defense mechanism to deter the assailant. It might not work though if the attacker is a violent psycho.
Cookie was a wacky and sharp showpony by the sound of it. Acting may not be the first thing that comes to mind with most rape victims and getting away as unscathed as much as possible would be the first thought for most. Shock can also prevent people from acting with shrewd creativity.

I guess that's why I love Cookie as much as I do. There really was nobody like her.
I own several of her books. I don't know that I've ever used this phrase, but maybe she really was too good for this world. Smart, resourceful, sweet, loyal, funny, true to herself, empathic and off the wall in her own uniqueness.

I didn't think it would be through blood transfusion or sex, as that is usually reserved for unprotected anal sex.
She might have been sharp, but she wasn't too smart being a user.

Yes, if he's a power reassurance rapist, the victim acting crazy may turn him off. If he's a power assertive rapist, he may be annoyed if the victim acts crazy and may become more violent. -

It depends on which type of rapist he is.
If he's the type of rapist who fantasizes that the victim desires him, then her actually being turned on may not stop him.
If he's the type of rapist who wants the victim to suffer, then it may be a turnoff for him if she's turned on. But there is no way to know if he would lose enough interest to stop, or if her being turned on would make him angry and hurt her even more. -
