This is Peter Sellers' comedic masterpiece. Birdie num num!

I spent 30-40 minutes on this film, and didn't so much as snicker. I gave up and turned it off.

It's a funny film, but it peters out at the end. The whole drunken waiter gag gets stale and the last part where the house is a foamy mess make the final 10-15 minutes feel very padded. I think if they did a better job editing the last half, it could have been as great as the best Pink Panther installments.
Still, Sellers is funny and he does a lot of good improv that's worth watching.

I think the over the top stuff is part of the charm of the film, great camp. For me, Sellers at as his best here and this is his masterpiece.
The Pink Panther stuff was great, but its not Sellers best work, IMO.

have to agree, its got to be his funniest movie and that's saying something.
Realism, Remakes and Unnecessary Sequels are ruining movies!
