Either interpretation is equally valid and equally chilling. Just a super creepy and unsettling film no matter which way you read it.
You've seen Guy Standeven in something because the man was in everything. -

You can say both answer could be right if you have read the books, but simply going by this one film, I'd say that the answer is The devil/witchcraft stuff is real.
That's my opinion and I'm sticking with it unless you care to try to change my mind…..
You asked a pretty question; I've given you the ugly answer.

The witchcraft business is likely real, but so is Rosemary's mental instability. It's a major reason that the coven taps her for their purposes, because it's very likely no one would in any way believe her should she try and expose them. She'd be tagged as a madwoman, and quite probably locked away.
In fact, if you care to guess at the continuation of the story after the film's ending, that's quite possibly exactly what does happen: Rosemary winds up being committed, leaving her husband free to turn the child over to the coven to raise as they deem appropriate. -

Don't come into my movie topics actually discussing the subject matter at hand like we're friends or some ****.
We're not friends. I think you're a ****ing idiot.
Avoid my ****ing movie topics, bitch. You have dumb, immature opinions on movies anyway. I don't want to read your dipshit opinions.
