Look Mr./Ms. Has not posted here before, the only one here insulting other posters is you. The rest are having some fun discussing this 40 Yr old show with preposterous storylines and characters. Maybe you should get some counselling for that anger from Rev Alden.

er, IMDB was designed to discuss tv shows and movies and some extra entertainment things but they went full retard when they designed boards like the soapbox and the politics board. that is where it went downhill.
to be honest, it has been a lot worse here a few years ago. A LOT WORSE! [full house board? good god!]

I don't know if that's the reason or not, but I 100% agree with you ronikattnig. My first thought when I found out they were closing is "Well, thank God that means all the crap people keep posting will get removed too." I've never read some more idiotic posts than I've seen at imdb, including in this LHOP forum.
Maybe now the countless "Caroline had sex with everyone", "Caroline was an idiot", "Charles was an idiot", "Albert was an idiot", "All the Ingalls' were idiots", "Who masturbated?", "Did Charles sleep with the Widow?" and all such stupid threads and comments will be gone. I guess those of you that are fascinated with posting that crap can go find an alternate place.
There are those of us out there that actually LIKE the Ingalls and DON'T think Caroline & Charles were sleeping around, and don't spend our waking moments pondering which of them masturbated, but rather just like the show as good decent entertainment and got really sick of seeing all the negative and twisted posts. -

Yes, well it was stated a lot. Though in fairness, I have the remastered Blu-ray and there's no doubt that she did actually hit the window with the baby But still. The one I got sick of was every other post trying to make a joke about Charles' ribs or him going shirtless. It was mildly funny the first time. The 250th time, not so much

Perhaps in real-life to some degree, but as portrayed on the show, that as a whole is not a defensible position. That's another thing I won't miss: the umpteen zillion times you felt the need to tell everyone how in real life Charles was an ass. Thank you for proving the point of this thread.
