It just makes me wonder about the situation with Keenan managing to stay in SNL for 14 years. I mean there are many other talented comedians who couldn't even make 10 years. Chris Parnell is always top of that list for me and Rachel dratch and so on Does anyone know?

I don't think it's anything but the fact that Keenan is a versatile, funny performer perfect for SNL. Behind the scenes I can imagine he's a very happy and positive influence to the entire cast/crew and they realize if he leaves they'd miss him immensely.
Bottom line: I think Keenan is the favorite child of Lorne and Co.

Liking him and finding him funny is a matter of preference and opinion.
Saying he is a versatile comedian is not.
Dont tell me you're innocent. Because it insults my intelligence and makes me very angry. -

He's grown on me. I don't care. Why get a new fat funny black guy if you already have one, and he's not quite good enough to get a film career or a tv show? Stick with what works.
