Why? It is simple. I am just trying to evaluate the amount of characters who have worn their Ties the thin way who have been on Grange Hill over the last 30 years.

Definitely thin, but varied between long and short.
I actually forgot the rarely seen 'tucked into your shirt like your are playing snooker' option.

Cool you wore your Tie thin, defenitly. It took some skill to have the Tie near perfect though I must say (hiding the fat bit)!
Sorry I was unsure what you mean by the "playing snooker option"!!!?

I think I varied it between long and short too - I prefferd it about 2cm most though. Though I often got told off for it LOL!

Louise Webb (in her last but 1 Episode in Series 11) - possibly the shortest ever seen on GH, or at leaast equal to Abel's.
Fat but really short

Frano Savi (he wore his just tippling over the Sweater that was the uniform from 1994 to 2001).
Trevor Cleaver - quite short
Patrick "Togger" Johnson
Fat and normal length
Vince Savage
Jake Briggs
Tanya Young
Annie Wainwright
Baz Wainwright
Emma Bolton
Sammy "Zammo" Mguire

For those that don't know, you'd yank the tie so hard the knot ends up the size of a peanut, I kid you not this was a real bugger to get undone. I learned the hard way.
Wore the tie thin every day after that lol
