Recommend similar thriller/horror/drama in Jungle environment (ideally)

Do you know of other mature similar thrillers?
I can think of PREDATOR (the first one).
Can be anything from drama/thriller/horrorBut ideally realistic and in Jungle, or possibly with similar athmosphere even tho not in Jungle (serious/dark IE: Live & Die in LA also by Friedkin).
No "feeling good" films.
I want dark flawed or tough characters

You've probably seen them, but Apocalypse Now and Deliverance. Maybe try Dead Man too.

Fitzcarraldo. Not a thriller but it has the South American vast jungle foreboding that makes you feel you are nought bigger than an ant.

The made for TV adaptation of Conrad's
Heart of Darkness
(on which
Apocalypse Now
was Loosely Based) isn't bad. It's worth watching as a "nice try, but not cigar" attempt at adapting Conrad's great work to film.
