Its kind of far fetched but he could have came back in through the front door, locked it, and then made his way back up into the hallway. Laurie was in the room with the bodies she wouldn't have seen him sneaking back up stairs.

It is far fetched. That's why Rob Zombie doesn't like Halloween. I watched his remakes recently(even more awful than I remember), but he said that the stuff in Halloween happens so coincidentally, that it kinda ruins it. He's almost right.

Zombie is the kind of guy that puts a rape scene in the film which is totally coincidental. So he is not the guy to be listening to about Halloween.

Halloween II. Boom box kid is walking down the street listening to his radio which is broadcasting that Laurie was taken to Haddonfield Memorial hospital. Myers just happens to be standing there as it happens. Myers walks about 90 feet and, boom, a sign giving directions to that very hospital. Can't be any more coincidential than that. Does that kinda ruin Halloween II for you?

We're not talking about II. We're talking about the original. He said nothing about the original II.

So what? I know what you're talking about. I just gave an example of a coincidence that occured in II and asked you if it almosts ruins that movie for you as you say that the coincidences in the original nearly does.
You just chose to dodge the question per usual.

No. I just don't appreciate people bringing up things that aren't germane to the conversation at hand. Michael Myers doppelganger is doing the same thing on the Cheers board. They guy asks me to provide lists where Cheers ranked higher than Frasier for greatest shows of all time. I provided 2 and someone else provided 2 more. And stupid old Michael Myers comes out of nowhere per usual for him, and mentions that Seinfeld and Friends ranks higher on the lists than Cheers does, so dI you still like the lists type thing. And I simply told him, what I'm telling you. That we're not talking about those shows, we're talking about these shows. Just like we're not talking about the coincidences in Halloween II, we're talking about coincidences in the original that Zombie pointed out.

The point is still valid whether it relates to this film or any.
We could always start a seperate thread on HALLOWEEN II coincidences so that it is germane to the subject if that might suit you better but it will still pose the same question.
If you feel Zombie is almost right about HALLOWEEN that such coincidences "kinda ruin it", do you feel that comparable coincidences in HALLOWEEN II "kinda ruin" that movie also?
I suspect Barney is questioning if you have a self-conflicting attitude in your outlook to both films.
And Darkness and Decay and the Red Death held illimitable dominion over all.

Give me a break. Stop with the whole, "we're talking about this not that" nonsense. You said that the coincidences in the original almost ruin it for you. All I'm asking is if the coincidences in the sequel do the same. Rather than answer the question, you chose to get all defensive about it. I'm not attacking II. Just asking a question. But your whole "taking the fifth" and refusing to answer the question on the grounds that we're not talking about II pretty much answers it for you.

Yes, but not that long and how else would he get in? Window? The front door was bolted shut. Laurie couldn't get in when she rang the bell, or didn't, but then Michael wouldn't have had time to bolt it creep upstairs and get in the other room. Laurie's Annie reveal took less than 2 minutes.

                                  This really takes the biscuit.
"The front door was bolted shut."
Yeah. By Michael. He had not trouble opening the door to take Annie's Body in and the door wasn't bolted when Lynda and Bob arrive. So Michael has clearly acquired the means to bolt and unbolt the door. e.g. The keys that Annie must have had.
but then Michael wouldn't have had time to bolt it creep upstairs and get in the other room. Laurie's Annie reveal took less than 2 minutes.
My office building is about three times size in its footprint to the Wallace house. I could easily walk around the entire building at least four times in five minutes.
Michael could easily have raked the kitchen door, gone round the front and followed Laurie upstairs. It would have taken half a minute for him to get in position.

No. Is that your prison uniform showing in yours?
Do you have anything to say that's germane to my post? Or are you ignoring the facts so that you can maintain your affected sense of chagrin at non existent "inconsistencies"?
Are you still comfortable with having no life except to dissect forty year old films and shaking your head in inane incomprehension at the idea of other off screen things like Michael cutting holes in a sheet.

I agree about the Lynda and Bob scenes, but the rake is something Michael would definitely plan out.
Generally, I don't want to know why Michael does this or that, the mystery involved is part of the attraction. Less is more.
