Yeah, I only saw it when I was about 8 years old, but I remember crying a lot! In England Channel 4 did a year of the 100 greatest tear jerkers, and I think it ranked in the top 10.

I have showed this movie to at least 15 people. (family and friends) Every single one was a sobbing mess by the end of it! I still rank it as one of the biggest tearjerkers of all time!
im 17 havent seen the film since i was bout 10 and i really wanna see it again but i cried my eyes out then im dreading wat im gonna be like now shi t i cried big daddy

Every time I see this movie I cry, no matter what age I am at the time. It's so distressing, and beautiful, the love between the boy and his father and so damn sad and tragic.
definately agree, I could watch it now and I'd cry. It's too much. The relationship with his dad reminds me a lot o my own relationship with my father. Excellent, poignant film making.
