That's because it doesn't take a genius to figure out the extraordinary degree of PATHETICNESS you are suffering from, LOL!! OH, SNAP! Any FIVE-YEAR-OLD reading this thread is going to notice you have REEEEAL trouble admitting you're wrong. You see, any NORMAL person takes this ability for granted. From the first day we go to school to the day we have jobs, we LEARN from mistakes. We learn by ADMITTING and CORRECTING mistakes. Just wondering what in your nature, or upbringing, or both, causes you to be so devoid of such ability, tsk, tsk, tsk. But if you don't want to do it, THAT'S OK!! I DON'T MIND!!! IT'S YOUR LIFE, LOL!!! BE THE JOKE THAT YOU ARE FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE.

      "Pathetic"?
I think you know very well how you're misbehaving, moviemadness.
And, going by your posting history, you seem to scream the same things at anyone who dares disagree with your manic "points" (
      winning
though you feel they may be).
      May I ask your age?
      Non-sequiturs are delicious.

The difference is that my past heated comments had SUBSTANCE that backed up every one of my arguments, and yours were all infantile and cliche-ridden remarks that were totally devoid of substance, just like the vacuum chamber that you call your head. But then again the other poster is right again: you're just not worth my time. I can't argue with such an infantile mind the same way Einstein can't argue with an ANT. Somebody is going to sue me for child abuse!

          Again, total projection.
Sad that you've successfully bullied DoctorJuliaHoffman off the thread.

            Moviemadness2012,
I haven't read the entire thread to know everything about who said what to whom, but speaking about admitting one's wrongness in general. Though, Dr.Julia Hoffman did say some things which provoked me. The other poster is not worth your time.

You were supposed to place me on "ignore," Simpleminded. Why haven't you?

The two of you, like so many average filmgoers, has a fundamental lack of cineliteracy that makes you unable to appreciate the artistic qualities of a great film.
                Screamingly funny.

The girl was very pretty! No plastic-surgery-disasters like the untalented ones from this era. I do agree she wasn't very skilled. But Michael Caine isn't brilliant neither.

OP what are you talking about? Nancy Allen is a gorgeous woman. In fact, I would call her beautiful.

Nancy Allen was always very beautiful but she was as bland as you can get as an actress. Being Mrs. DePalma really helped. The film only stays together due to the technical brilliance of DePalma and the score once Dickinson goes. Allen has no leading lady skills whatsoever.

She was perfick for the roles of Liz, hana.
She has the good rapport with all three of her of her co-stars - the nerdy kid, Michael Caine and the cop.
