As if the facts had to be pointed out to you that me and millions of others who've watched The Shinning noticed no homophobic undertones what-so-ever.
It's just you. But if you wanna meltdown over your delusions, then have at it. I don't care. Stay crazy, stay persecuted.
Deuces!

Eh bien, excuse-moi! Lol!
So according to you, that scene of Jack getting it on with the sexy lady bathing in a bathtub mean that nudity and bathing is EVIL?? Heterosexual sex is EVIL and terrifying! That lady in room 237 also tried to have sex with Danny!!

It's still sinful to cheat on your spouse as well as lust is a sin according to Toasted Cheese.
See he's trying to insult everyone's intelligence when he makes topics like this. He using a particular scene in a movie to bait homophobics. Maybe he also secretly hates Stephen King or Kubrick?
All I know is that Toasted Cheese's argument is trolling. I'm testing his "theory/accusations" about the film being homophobic just because there is a scene of dead ghosts caught engaging in homosexual activity that seemed to terrifying for Wendy.

Okay. In my case it was the opposite, and I suppose that has a lot to do with the way I feel about Kubrick's adaptation versus the late '90s made for TV version that King produced.
In general, I've always thought that film adaptations of good novels fell short.
The Godfather and No Country For Old Men are a couple that were, imo, exceptions. -

I watched almost an hour and a half of it again early yesterday, and one thing it isn't is scary.
I almost found Shelley Duvall's acting to be comical. I bet if I did some acid and watched it, I'd be howling with laughter.
