How about Benedict Cumberbatch?
I know, I know: Hes in EVERYTHING lately.. But, he has a great voice, an ethereal presence & the looks to carry it off..
To be honest, I just want him to crack on with series 3 of Sherlock (& 4,5,6,7,8.), however, I would be willing to allow him a "sabbatical" for this one!

Why would they do a remake, the original is as epic it could possibly get. They couldn't catch the miserable an dark atmosphere that movie brought. A remake would probably involve some kid/teen with a backpack running around with zero deaths taking place.
