I think that the 1983 Movie "
CHRISTINE
" is a Great Movie!
It is also 1 of My Top 5 Favorite "
JOHN CARPENTER
" Movies.

Have you seen Doctor Sleep?
I ask this because, I have this theory that Christine had the "shine." Stephen King wrote both.
Those with the shine have the ability to possess things, to take over something. It's likely that Christine was being controlled by a person with the Shine.
Carrie had the shine, also.

Interesting notion, yet King wrote
Christine
well before
Doctor Sleep
and the evil True Knot shiners. His notion of Shiners in
The Shining
were more about a benevolent gift.
Doctor Sleep
arose out of expanding this.
Christine was possessed straight off the assembly line and this could lead to many theories of why.

Loved the movie and loved the book! I didn't realize that John Carpenter directed it…that's probably why it was so good!
Cool that Arnie was in Back to School also…good actor!
