THE POINTY BIRDS
O pointy birds, o pointy pointy,
Anoint my head, anointy nointy.IN DILLMAN'S GROVE In Dillman's Grove my love did die, And now in ground shall ever lie. None could ever replace her visage, Until your face brought thoughts of kissage. -

Ah yes! The Great Lillison. A true legend of poetry writing. A.dare I say it?genius whose talent was painfully obvious in these 2 classic gems which put Baudelaire and other such losers to shame.
Birds are pointy. A powerful, deep observation which will echo through the ages like a giant gong in an underground station.
They don't write 'em like that anymore.
Thank you Steve Martin for bringing to light a forgotten mastermind of literature.

I don't know how Steve Martin keeps a straight face during those scenes! If I ever met him that would be my only question to him. How the hell did he keep from laughing? This movie is only second to 'the Jerk'!
Did you tell LUKE..? Is THAT who you could tell?? -

Just watched L.A. Story again and laughed my butt off when Hariss tries to get his love back and starts reading 'Pointy Birds' then gets a window slammed in his face before the end of the first line!
Genius.
