most of my favorite movies don't have much smiling and cheerfulness in them, so that's not my issue with Ms. Stewart. the issue is she has no range whatsoever. she has one very limited character that she does over and over and over and over and over
some of the best moments we pass in this life are in the dreams of others -

I thought she was beautifully performing the role. I thought she was amazing and beautiful and sexy.
Such a good actress.

Yeah, I'm also not seeing the problem with her acting. At the very least, it was adequate.
As for her sexiness, of that there is no doubt.

From Wikipedia:
"Meg Tilly was cast as Mozart's wife Constanze, but she tore a ligament in her leg the day before shooting started. She was replaced by Elizabeth Berridge."
Berridge had no rehearsal time. -

Me too. I can't imagine Meg Tilly in the role with her meek voice, but Milos Forman seemed infatuated with her.
I think Elizabeth Berridge pulled off a decent performance. Not as remarkable as the two leading men, but then she was allowed less space to maneuver. -

Hmmm. I thought she was very memorablein a good wayas Costanze. I thought she made a good counterpart to Hulce's Mozart. Never really considered people might have a problem with her performance, but obviously there's quite a few of you out there.

I don't know that I'd say one of the worst ever, but I will agree she's way out of her depth here, and the prestige of the film exacerbates this.
