This is the best movie ever made.
Let's face it, the people who are most likely to commit suicide are those who see through the crap the world has to offer and can't handle what they see.
Sam Shepard writes about real life better than anyone, so it does not surprise me that people who are that in tune with the real world say they love this movie. -

Ian Curtis actually killed himself while watching "Stroszek" - I wouldn't worry to much. Paris Texas is my favorite movie of all time and I do suffer from some mental illness but oh well, enjoying art is enjoying art.

I've never been disturbed or suicidal and this is also one of my favorite movies but I have to wonder why it is important that we know Cobain's feelings about the movie. He wasn't a movie critic, he wasn't important to the movie industry, he didn't have anything to do with movies. His opinion carries no more weight than the garbageman who picks up my trash or the cashier who rings up my groceries.
