Did you notice that he got that idea from seeing the home movie where Jenny is saying to the raccoon, "I mean you no harm."

I liked that scene, the red light stop, green light go, yellow light go very fast, the opening I cant get no satis faction (was thinking it wasn't that cheezy until the Voyager 2's TV screen opened up lol), and the ending scenes.

My favorite scene is when the guy in the black hot rod who gave Jenny the ride to catch up with Starman created the diversion with the fuel can explosion. That is something I would like to do.

OMG I still think of the line often! It was not only perfectly written & perfectly delivered.but its so often TRUE!
Humans are so odd & often cruel, but often when a town gets a hurricane or if a baby on TV needs donations for medical treatment.humans flock to help!

Yeah, I have always found the scene with the dead deer incredibly moving. One of the best scenes from any movie.
