Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — The Woman in Red

I watched this movie a few times growing up for the obvious reasons growing up but I watched it last night as a 35 year old and watched it from a different angle.
It really hits home about how people act and how groups of men cover up for each other's affairs etc.
One question I have though is why does Joeys wife take him back?. It seemed she made a final decision and took the kids and furniture.
I know people take cheaters back all the time and some people can't stand to be alone which I assume was the reason but it just seemed to be a bit of a 'Oh yeah, Joey got back with his wife'

        Couple of things
First, Joey's wife looked a bit of a dog
Second these words from Ted E. seemed to surprise me a little bit, considering what Ted E. was trying to get up to himself, hana
The only unpleasant surprise, was that in two days
        Joe was back in form.
