Who is the evil equivalent
of Kenneth Williams?
A wiry, weaselly character with a whining voice, quite expressive?
I keep thinking he played Pontius Pilate, unless Herod, in some Christ movie, but I can't find him in one, even in:

with the full list.
He used to be in lots of films I saw as a kid, probably from the sixties or before.
Not José Ferrer but maybe he is reminiscent and closest to him.
If you find him I will set one prisoner free of your choosing. -

Since reading this comment on that sequal, it's just what I'm taking about.
Once you have seen this movie you will never ever forget Jay Robinson's performance as deranged but cunning Caligula.
."Demetrius" is in some ways superior to its predecessor "The Robe" -it lacks the ponderous religiosity,theres more action,and Caligula moves into centre stage.
So maybe that's the one I remember most.
