No movie is perfect so I thought it would be fun to hear what everybody disliked about the film.
There are two lines that I absolutely hate.- "STOP IT!" After the leeches. Gordie looks like a demon child
- "That's it you're ass is grass" Not really sure why but it just makes me cringe. I don't think his acting was very good. Charlie Hogan I think it was.
Anyone else?

I didn't like Gordie telling us about what Ace and his friends were up to. Because Gordie wasn't there, so he would have no idea what they were doing.
I was just thinking that the other day while watching it!
Although I don't think SBM is the only culprit of that.

I agree with Leonard Maltin, the language in SBM was not typical of the fifties. Oh year we cursed but no where near what this movie depiicted, it puzzled me that Rob Reiner had to use the four letter words to that degree.

Chris dying always gets me. He went through so much, finally made it out of the small town, became successful, then dies being a peacemaker.WHHHYYYY
Also the line how they became "just another face in the crowd". I know it happens, from personal experience, but man after an adventure like that, it hurts to know you lose the people you shared it with.
I get sad at the end, I feel like it ran too short.
