Bill was even more like Trek though.
He boldly went where no man has gone before
(I mean, they do have Chelsea, so they did mate at least once, no?)
So Hillary's probably had sex, once in her life. I bet she hardly even got wet. -

On the one hand I'm glad Clinton and her corruption lost and we avoided a sjw 1984 on her end but on the other hand I'm worried about some mad max stuff from Trump and Pence bothers me, hopefully this isn't another 1933 in Germany

Yes, because he's not going to import tens of thousands of Muslim Syrian refugees like Hillary would.
He's not going to start a war with Russia like Neo-Lib Hillary seemed to want and he's going to finally fix our broken immigration system that foreign countries have been crapping on for the last 40 years.
Among other things he will get a conservative Supreme Court Justice in to replace conservative Justice Scalia who was mysteriously found dead earlier this year. He will scrap Obamacare which has been a nightmare.
He'll make our military stronger by making sure they have everything they need to the standards they need it which they currently don't and Law Enforcement isn't going to get crapped on now like it is by our current President.
There's more, but above all he's going to put America first! -

When I say a mad max from Trump (while Clinton would have given us a sjw 1984) I'm talking about the economy completely breaking down and society completely breaking down.
I have no problems with Trump's stance on Muslims and so forth but the other stuff worries me. -

You know, I never understood how showing respect to foreign leaders on their home soil constituted an apology tour, but then I've never been too good at politics. That's why I prefer Star Trek - as an artificial construct, it's easier to deconstruct and things actually mean things.

I predicted he would be president way back when he insulted McCain and got away with it.
Also before he even ran I predicted that if a person ran that just "said stuff" good or bad that was different than the usual politician that the people would eat it up.
Unfortunately, I was right. -

Yes indeed unfortunately,it seems like the candidate that says the most outrageous things, insults large segments of the population and members of his own party seems to win.Politics nowadays seems to consist of spouting impracticable lies and filth ordinary people need to know politics is not a profession of easy solutions and one liners. You have my sympathies Little Miss Yappa.

You're on the right track, Nexus, but not quite. The American people are sick of politicians and the "I'm not a politician" campaigns are getting huge support. Add to that, he was running against someone with political scandals galore. Most likely Sanders would have defeated Trump.
I think I said it on this board before, but Hillary also made a huge mistake focusing on Trump having sexual harassment claims. She's married to the king of sexual harassment and if she cared about it one bit she would have gotten divorced before anyone even knew who Monica Lewinsky was.
So who plans to watch
