Unless you wanna see a million blanks after your posts. Lol. You're being childish. Putting someone on ignore because they don't like the same things you do. What are you, 5?

I've seen your list of Top 10 TV shows, and frankly, almost NONE of them would I give a second, or even first, look. They just don't interest me. TNG is possibly the only exception. But how come you like such old TV shows like Columbo? How old ARE you? I'm 44, BTW.
Why are you here if you haven't seen the movie yet?

Because old tv shows are good, and most new tv shows are garbage. There's several newer shows I enjoy. Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and Modern Family for example. But, as great as they are, they can't compare to Cheers or All in the Family. Columbo might be the greatest detective series of all time. Peter Falk won 4 Emmys for the role over the course of like 30 years. The A-team is Damn entertaining. Sounds to me, you have horrible taste in tv shows. Most, if not all of mine are considered classics.

I would say putting someone on ignore because they don't like the same things is more mature than getting mad, throwing a fit and calling them names. Don't you think?

That's rich Leo. The little turd makes fun of Foe for putting people on ignore but yet he whines and cries about other people's posts but yet here's a copy of his meltdown from last year on the Halloween Board:
No no no. Nobody deserves what I'm getting. I call someone a dope, or a moron, because we have a disagreement, and that gives them the right to post my Facebook page and call me names based on my pictures which aren't true anyway? Retarded looking, and fat and the like? I don't think so. You know what's sad?
I just added two more people to my ignore list
, one from the Rocky board and one from the Halloween ll board here, and
that makes 27 asswholes I've had to put on ignore
because they just got too overwhelming with their hate for me, and I couldn't stand it anymore.
            http://www.imdb.com/board/10082495/board/flat/233534881?p=4&d=234771773#234771773
Ask him why he so many people on ignore.

DS9 was awesome with a great Captain in Sisko to a great ship in the Defiant to an original security Chief in Odo to a great alien ally in Kira to wonderful aliens from the Cardiassions to the Dominion to the Breen. It worked wonderfully.

Deep Space Nine is arguably the better series than TNG, because of the character interplay involved, with lots of internal conflicts between just about everyone. But, at the same time, it is a soap opera, with a lot of time talking about feelings than actually doing things, especially in character-focused episodes. I'm not one for soaps, and while I generally liked DS9, it is better, in my opinion, than the new version of Battlestar Galactica, which I tuned out sometime around season 2 when it was airing (but I caught up with the rest thanks to Netflix).
DS9 has two of the best characters in all Star Trek in it - Quark and Sisko. For that reason I was able to keep along with DS9 during the 90s.

Quark and Sisko were outstanding characters, mainly because of each actors' performances (they had tremendous screen presence) and they were interesting. Garak was awesome too, and I list him as one of the best characters the franchise ever had. They offered interesting perspectives and passion that we often didn't get from TNG, because they had something to work off of, namely their own agendas and their own approaches to handling problems.
Quark is especially interesting because he's the face of the ordinary civilian who's just working to make a living in the galaxy. Further, he made the Ferengi less monolithic, more interesting than merely a bunch of aliens who wear a certain hat. His conflicts with Odo are priceless; he's a bit of a scoundrel and he loves it, because it's part of how he does business.
Even in his moments where he was put out of his element, such as the time where he's made the head of a Klingon House (the House of Quark), he's interesting. While I thought it was a bit ham-handed, at least it was a risk and I appreciate that.
Sisko is the second best captain in the franchise because Sisko is not Picard. That's a little bit trite, but from the moment we meet him we are shown that here is a man who is put in his position not because he wanted it, but because they, meaning Starfleet, wanted to get him out of their hair (or lack thereof) by posting him somewhere that he could do what they thought was a rather mundane job but at the same time his abrasiveness would be handy when dealing with Cardassians and Klingons. He says what he thinks and he doesn't put up with crap from anyone, including Q, who he knocked on his ass. Samuel L. Jackson could've played Sisko marvelously, but Avery Brooks brought a presence perhaps more in line with the character as was necessary, without being over-indulgent. Picard was not the kind of man for the job of running DS9; while he might've done well, he represents a peculiar mindset guided by political correctness that is more appropriate for the Flagship of the Federation. Sisko shows us a character that has to do the grunt-work of Starfleet, that's perhaps less glamourous but all the more necessary in order to preserve the Federation itself, the kind of stuff you'd never see the Enterprise-D ever doing.

Quark was a good character but almost all of his episodes were terrible. I would have liked one of his crime stories to have been less tongue in cheek.

When I said that they were aliens that wear a certain hat, that's writer-speak for how a group of people are generally portrayed in a very monolithic way. The Vulcans, for instance, wear the pure-intellectual hat; the Klingons wear the pure-warrior hat; the Ferengi wear the greedy-capitalist hat. I'm not one to say that this is really all that bad, especially if you're making a space opera and you have bigger stories to tell than to delve into the nuances of every nation.
With Quark, though, you might think all his episodes are terrible, but that's a bit unfair. Even if you didn't much care for all the Ferengi political stuff, Little Green Men was enjoyable, and even that opened a window into Ferengi outlook and mindset. What Quark, Rom, and Nog accomplished for Star Trek was to make the Ferengi less stupid, more cunning, and we get a sense of their culture in a much bigger way that goes beyond cheap characteristics.
