    You know the scene in rules of attraction that talks about the eurotrip with all the drugs sex and hedonism with no pauses. That's what the book is like.
    I love the movie. It's an 80s kid thing. It is nothing at all like the book though.
    The only character from the book that works similarly in the film is Rip.

      I really like the movie and the book. They can somehow be oddly comforting when you start to think your own life is beep ed up.
      The movie is very 80s-centric, for sure.
