"Which proves it's not a very memorable scene."

"A sequel is usually inferior to the original, because the original is just that: original."
You're right. Maybe I should cut Little Lady some slack.
"But anyway, back to the Baby.
It was amazing how they got the baby to lay still when they were trying to change her. Normally they kick and scream."
Oh. You mean like my 11 month old does every time we change her diaper?
Seriously, that scene had to have had a lot of takes. Either that or those are a pair of really affable babies. -

Some parts are pretty dull, but for the most part it's a pretty good sequel. Like I said it's great if you want to see Mary a little older and see further antics of Peter, Michael and Jack.
"Oh. You mean like my 11 month old does every time we change her diaper?"
I wouldn't know since I don't know your 11 month old.

That or she was very sleepy when they did that scene. You'll notice in a few close-ups she doesn't even blink.
And those "ultra absorbent" diapers? Did he buy adult diapers by mistake?? LOL -

It depends on what kind of sleepy they are. If they are just a teensy bit sleepy, it's WORSE. If it's regular sleepy, it's better. If it's over-tired sleepy, it's A LOT WORSE!

LOL! I was thinking the same thing! But the best part was when the diaper fell off the baby and she peed all over the couch! Tom Selleck's portrayal of that kind of frustration was right on the money! The first day I brought home my son from the hospital, he peed EVERYWHERE when my Mom took off his diaper! And since my daughter was born, I can't count the times when my husband or I have gone to change a diaper and before we could get on the new one, she wet everywhere! -

Then perhaps it was regular sleepy.

Wow. Who'd have thought tiny bladders could fill so fast and hold so much.
"But the best part was when the diaper fell off the baby and she peed all over the couch!"
Apparently the couch was Michael's, because he had to clean it up. -

Could be.
"Wow. Who'd have thought tiny bladders could fill so fast and hold so much."
That's close to what I was thinking at the time. . . . Actually, no, what I was really thinking was something close to, "DUH! I should have had a clean diaper underneath to safeguard against that! How could I be so STUPID?! I'm WAY too tired to be doing this."
"Apparently the couch was Michael's, because he had to clean it up."
Is it terrible that the thought of that couch being Michael's and that he had to clean it up, actually made me giggle? -

What if it soaked through?

That was apparently his sweater too that Peter wrapped around Mary after her bath. -

"What if it soaked through?"
Mainstream 'sposies have silica gel in them. If the baby has JUST wet, when you put a new diaper underneath and s/he wet again, it WON'T soak through.

I thought it was Peter's? Wasn't Peter the one that had to clean it? -

Nice invention.

No, seems Michael was in charge of cleaning up wherever the baby
went. -

Depends on how you look at. I think I read somewhere that the silica gel is a low-level toxin. I wouldn't use the 'sposies if I thought for a minute that I could afford G-diapers.

LOL! Maybe it was because Peter couldn't handle it? Remember how far out he had to hold the poopy diaper and how frantic he was in trying to close the garbage pail lid? -

Then I don't imagine they'll keep it on the market for much longerunless they can prove it's harmful.

Yeah. Though I don't know if it's THAT bad. -

The silica gel? It would surprise me if they got rid of it. It's been in diapers for AT LEAST the last 9yrs. Maybe longer. Anyway, I think they've proven that it's a teensy bit harmful. But when you consider that generic disposable diaper cost just $7.00 for 49 diapers and gdiapers are like $16 for 49. . . . Well. . . . Ya know. . . .
"Yeah. Though I don't know if it's THAT bad. "
Depends on what you've fed the little nipper. If s/he has only had breastmilk, it's not that difficult to deal with. If s/he has had formula, it's only a teensy bit more smelly than breastmilk dipes. If s/he has had fruit or veggie babyfood, it's not too awful. Meat can get stinky. I would avoid broccoli if you're sensitive to bad odors, if I were you. -

Thanks for sharing that.
