Why does this Dirty Harry movie barely hit the 90 minute mark and was shot flat, while all the others were filmed anamorphic and clock in about 2 hours? (Ok the Enforcerwas 95 min, I wonder about that too)
    Was it laziness? cash issues?

It seems they wanted to make a Dirty Harry movie, but didn't want to put any money into the budget. Or the script.
It's too bad because I think there was a very good movie that could have been made. (At least a movie to end the series with a bang!) I know Warner Bros. wasn't doing great in the 80's, so maybe they were just out to make a quick buck.
At least it's not as bad as The Enforcer.
