Some may say the creepy Halloween song, but for my money the intro theme song was so cool it really makes this movie b starting it off on an awesome note. I still get it stuck in my head all the time. I dare anyone to name a better horror movie theme song.

I completely agree with you! The theme song for Killer Klowns is amazing! The band that did the song is a 70's punk band called the Dickies, they are an awesome band that still perform to this day and put on a great show! You really should check out some of the Dickies albums.

"Halloween" has a theme, not a theme
song
. There are only a few horror movie theme songs I can think of: "Killer Klowns," "Fright Night," "He's Back (The Man Behind the Mask)" (Friday the 13th 6), "Run, Run, Run" (Gingerdead Man 2), "The Monster Squad," "Mad Monster Party," "Happy Birthday to Me," etc. And now that I think of it, most of them close the movies rather than open them. Much as I love the others, Klowns is a notch better thanks to the Dickies' awesome spin on Julius Fuk's "Entrance of the Gladiators." Greatest sampling of a classical composition ever. -

Halloween does have a theme song. It also has a theme, but that has nothing to do with music. I hate when people try to get pretentious and snooty AND they don't know what they're talking about. Makes it twice as bad.

It's a great song. Very catchy. My favourite non-instrumental horror movie theme song would probably The Toxic Avenger Part II's.
"I'm so happy dancing while the Grim Reaper cuts, cuts, cuts, but he can't get me!"
