"Halloween" has a theme, not a theme
song
. There are only a few horror movie theme songs I can think of: "Killer Klowns," "Fright Night," "He's Back (The Man Behind the Mask)" (Friday the 13th 6), "Run, Run, Run" (Gingerdead Man 2), "The Monster Squad," "Mad Monster Party," "Happy Birthday to Me," etc. And now that I think of it, most of them close the movies rather than open them. Much as I love the others, Klowns is a notch better thanks to the Dickies' awesome spin on Julius Fuk's "Entrance of the Gladiators." Greatest sampling of a classical composition ever. -

Halloween does have a theme song. It also has a theme, but that has nothing to do with music. I hate when people try to get pretentious and snooty AND they don't know what they're talking about. Makes it twice as bad.

It's a great song. Very catchy. My favourite non-instrumental horror movie theme song would probably The Toxic Avenger Part II's.
