Didn't they also share a kiss during the Boyhood parody episode (Barthood)? & haven't there been some other instances of possibly pairing Bart with Sherri? So, what's that all about?

Homer's character was a spoof of Ernst Blofeld from James Bond. The part where they mention that Bart's father was an assassin with special powers was from Wanted. It's a parody of spy movies in general, but the part where Moe beats up teenagers was from Kingsman.

I've not seen the Kingsman film, but it sounds like they were aping the end of some of the Bond films: Bond, after a successfully completed mission, is alone with the girl - on a boat or somewhere where they think that they're alone - and they start getting busy only to find out that they're under surveilience by M or Q (and maybe someone important was on hand, like the Queen, who'd see Bond fooling around)
