Was Christine Lakin Underutilized?

Just wondering what people think.
I haven't watched this show since it originally aired, so I don't really remember exactly how much screen time she got, but I believe she'd be #6 in the cast pecking order (would have been #7 if Sasha Mitchell stayed on).
However any time Step by Step is mentioned, it seems to me like the conversation is usually about Al. I think she's quite possibly the most fondly remembered character, generally speaking. -

IMO she was used quite adequately, and to good effect. And yes, her character was great. I think she and Staci Keanan were the two best actors on the show amongst the children, and on a superficial note Lakin underwent one of the more notable physical transformations in TV history. Al was great.
