Sorry for the late reply, but I'm watching the movie on netflix and I just barely noticed that little look! That is absolutely hilarious! I think she is totally talented for just going with it, though. That would be so hard.

I remember an interview with them when the movie came out. The was an unscripted moment and he actually tripped (he wasn't improvising, he lost his balance and went with it). And you're right when his feet bang the table, she turns around startled, and then looks back to the director who must have obviously been like "go with it, go with it," so she instantly just continues her speech. Great moment.

That's classic. I thought it had been staged, as I remember reading years back that SM had some sort of gymnastic background. But all the better if it was just improvised, after a genuine slip. -

I'm glad you posted this, because I'd never notice it before. I agree; I think it he was improvising and she did a masterful job of not laughing and ruining the take. That just makes this movie even better. Don't you love watching two true professionals play off each other?
