    Too bad. Wow, he was in some stinkers after that, starting with his borrrring! L.A. Story. He lost his mojo or good judgement.

      What about Bowfinger (1999)? I think that one is his very best.

              I think this and Bowfinger are among his best, and personally, I liked LA Story. I didn't love it, but I liked it. Instead of 'The Out of Towners' though, I would have preferred a sequel to this. How awesome would that have been?
              I definitely think this and Bowfinger are extremely underrated. Bowfinger he wrote and directed, I think. So it's probably my favourite of his.

                I completely agree. I don't know what happened to him; whether he forgot how to pick a decent script, or he just doesn't care much anymore. Maybe it's just that his focus isn't on acting anymore, so he doesn't try very hard.
