Nobody could play a stone-cold, no-nonsense southern judge like Fred Gwynne.

I absolutely adore him. Hadn't wanted the Muensters as a kid (we were more of an Addam's Family type of family) so I never really saw him as Hermann
But, everything else he was in, just phenomenal. I adore him.

Hard to believe you never saw him as "Herman Munster".
            Fred Gwynne
            was
Herman Munster; the two are inseparable.
I often wonder if he loved that role or later regretted it.

Was also a children's book author.
I remember I read one from the library my mom got for me.

Really? I never heard that one!
Are you sure it's him? His bio says nothing about him being an author.

Other than Fred Gwynne the rest of the cast wasn't all that old when they died. Actually scratch that. Even Fred Gwynne was only 66 when he died??? Wow, I had him pegged for being so much older.

What's kind of creepy is that all of them were in their 60s, and two were 66 (Fred Gwynne, and the guy who played George Wilbur).

Funny thing about Rebhorn: He was in 2 films in 1992 that won acting Oscars for his co-stars: This one with Marisa Tomei and Scent of a Woman with Al Pacino.

Several years ago, I saw a "strange disappearance" type show (can't for the life of me remember the name of it), and the victim was a writer or producer or some kind of executive on
                                  My Cousin Vinny
. He left a city in the middle of the country (don't remember which one or what state) bound for California. He never made it. They searched but there was no sign of anything, not even his car. Eventually, however, a vehicle would be found in a concrete aquaduct. He evidently fell asleep at the wheel and the car just happened to careen down an access to the water where he perished. Does anyone know who this was? I've done searches on Google and Wikipedia, but nothing comes up.

Even weirder still: they all died in their 60's, which is kind of on the younger side nowadays and aside from that just weird that it was all within the same decade of their lives. Joe Pesci has already survived the curse but if I were the remaining cast members, I'd be real nervous in my 60's.
