I've read that the script was changed to fit caulkins demands. Also, was there a lot of footage changed? Does anyone know for sure? If so, what all was changed from the original script? Thanks

You should watch The Bad Seed made in the '50's. As a child actor Mccauley Culken was a great. Both movies are worth watching. Since the son was so young it's hard to tell if he is a sociopath or psychopath.

I remember hearing Culkin's father made the film focus on his character more and even tried to make him a sympathetic anti-hero. They only complied with the first, I think, and cut some of Elijah's scenes where he was back home.

As far as I'm concerned, this is ELIJAH's film. Mac takes a backseat. They both did a great job but if I was to give out an award, it would be Elijah's for sure!!!

Lol wrong, this is Macaulay's film, didn't he win an award for this? Just like he outshined the girl (what's her name) from My Girl.

              They were both excellent.
