wihtout a doubt i would let my wife sleep with another guy for a million bucks.. thats enough to buy decent house, two nice cars, and have enough money in the bank to live comfortably in the future.. who cares if my wife bones some dude.. as long as she still loves me..

If my wife wanted to sleep with another man so much that she would actually go ahead and do it then there's nothing I could or would do to stop it. After nearly 10 years the poor woman needs a change!
If we stood to make a million out of it AND she wanted to do it (ie Robert Redford - "yesss pleeeeessse!" then NOOOOOOO problem.
That's where my butt cheeks start to clench watching this movie when Woody Harrelson start to act like such a WUSS - I mean GET OVER IT!!!
The makers of this film originally wanted Dustin Hoffman to play John Gage - just to make it a little more of a dilemma. It was vetoed by the execs / backers. -

Thank God for that. Robert Redford was the ONLY choice for this role.
He's so yummy. STILL.
He reminds me of a vanilla ice cream cone. I just want to lick him sigh
But then Woody Harrelson is HOT too. His character is just rougher around the edges due to his humble circumstances. -

sir, no kid sister of mine is going to bring shame upon herself and my mom, (that's already been my dad's job (I'd rather clip old fungus toenails than ever see his no good rotten face again) I know what it's like to grow up poor and see my mom struggle without a husband and me and my sister without a father so money has little value over my love for my family and our honor and integrity.
