    What was the scam that that white dude and Chauncey were planning when that white dude came to his door with the picture of the car? And who was that white dude exactly and what did he have to gain in the scam? The following scene had them going to a parking garage.

      They were scamming to steal a car.. I'm not sure what he had to gain

        He seemed like a hot car broker. I think he was showing a photo of a car he wanted stolen.

          I think Chauncy and the white guy are partners that sell stolen cars to shady insurance companies. When you have comprehensive coverage and your car is stolen, insurance companies will loan you a car until your claim is processed. I'm pretty sure they all arrange a loaner from a rental agency now, but maybe back in the 90's they had a small fleet of stolen vehicles to save money and turn a bigger profit.
