I'll agree it's better than CotC2, but I still think it misses the point a bit. The big monster wasn't really needed was it? It was easily the least scariest thing in all the first 3 movies.

I have to agree that it's the best of all of the COTC sequels, but I do agree that the monster at the end was ridiculous and poorly executed. It's lifting a freaking Barbie doll! I think up until the last 10 minutes it's a very good movie. I could do without the scarecrow coming alive parts, but I digress.

I have to disagree with the OP.
CotC III isn't a bad movie, but I wouldn't say it's the best of the sequels (although it's a lot better than some of them).
Imo, it's better than Part VIII: Genesis, much better than the remake, & immensely better than Part VI (Part VI was the only movie in the CotC series that I felt was unwatchable).
Also, while I liked the story in Part II better than III, the acting was so much better in Part III than II.

I agree that it is a very good film. Eli is one of my favorite characters from any movie and Daniel Cerny did a great job at playing him. I don't think there is any actor who could've played the part any better.
