Exactly. I can get garbage 24x7 and I can't get a DVD of this brilliant film. Interesting that I did see a Region 2 DVD available at Amazon. So they can't even get a few copies of a Region 1 print distributed to Netflix?
What up. -

It's a shame. I remember renting this movie to watch one night. I had heard this movie was good, so I rented it. It was brilliant. To friends stop by and watched it with me on a whim (though both professed hating subtitles. Both loved it as much as I did. I thought about it the other day and decided my wife would love it. Not available on net flix. So sad.

That is good news. Do you know which studio/distributor is to release it? I can't find a listing for it anywhere on Amazon.
Update: Apparently it is to be released by Rhino:

Looks like the wait for a Region 1 DVD release of this one goes on: that earlier report seems to be in error; the Feb 2008 DVD release is of a concert version of the musical, performed at the Royal Albert Hall (in 1995) in honour of the play's 10th anniversary.
