"Bisexuals were just unheard of in those days"
????
That could be the single most ignorant comment I have ever read.

hu huh, Lol, huh hu, gays
The end of the 19th century actually witnessed the birth of the viable homosexual identity (Chauncey's Gay New York). Before this, being "closeted" or not was not really the issue. Before there was ever an actual homosexual identity, there were no bisexuals or homosexuals, on homosexual/bisexual actions. Instead, sexuality was conceived of as range or scale, with male to male contact being at one end, and male to female contact on the other. True, many were sentenced to death or lesser punishmnets for the crime of Buggery, but often these prosecutions had more political implications than prudish(B.R. Burg's work). -

The sex scenes are wonderful. This is one of the few gay films i like that protray gays in a different light, instead of that prissy, flaming queen way, which I dispise. I cant wait for hollywood to make a gay film where they show everything, and not hold back. It would be very interesting!
