I agree. Glenn's agent must have done some wheeling and dealing to give Glenn this small part. His acting was terrible.

No, not Cantrell, but there are many other actors that would have done a much better job than Frey. Frey was trying too hard and he wasn't convincing. He is not a good actor. That's all I am saying.

He may have been a friend of Cameron Crowe. Jan Wenner also has a small part. I don't think Glenn Frey did that bad of a job, but his part was so small that it really didn't matter either way. Non-actor celebrities make cameo appearances in movies and TV shows all the time.

On January 18, 2016 Glenn Frey passed away at age 67 from rheumatoid arthritis, acute ulcerative colitis, and pneumonia while recovering from intestinal surgery.
