I'm currently watching LM2 right now. I find it enjoyable. I don't understand why this movie is rated so badly. I haven't seen the first one yet. I guess I kinda ruined it for me but oh well.
I guess we're a minority of movie goers that like (generally) bad movies.

Don't worry, DanD. From what I've read, this movie altered events from the first one to fit what is basically a new, seperate story. (Kind of like
      Army of Darkness
in that aspect, I suppose. Or rather,
      very much
      like
      Army of Darkness
      .)
      So go watch
      LM1
      anyway.

Yeah, BrainGremlin is right, you haven't really ruined the first one, in fact, the first one may seem better, after having seen LM2.
After you see part one, you will understand why part 2 is rated so badly. The first one was shot like a "real" film, but part two was made to monopolize on the first, they didn't make it comparable to the first at all.
See part one, you won't regret it.

This film was terrible, and if you truly think this piece of crap is better than the original, your a complete moron.
Then again Im not surprised. No matter how bad a film can be you will always have a bunch of weirdos that like it or say its better than the first.

TiggerPromfit I'm not sure if you were directing that at me or in general, but for the record
LMLS WAS terrible, but I still enjoy it from time to time (I have bad tastes). But part one was great. No comparison.

I liked it the first time around, when I was younger. I recently saw it again and realized what an insane piece of crap it is.

Yep, it gets worse every time I see it, I knew it was crap the first time I saw it and yet I still watch it
Probably because I like most movies that have to do with VRfor over 20 years now I've been waiting for VR to get popular and after all this time many people still don't even know what VR goggles areor Video Glasses as they are called now a days.

I'd never seen it before today. It's horrible.
I have a pair of video glasses (I normally see them called HMDs head mounted displays), and it's still a mediocre technology. It works okay, though, when I want to watch a movie in bed.

Yep, not a very good movie LOL
As for HMD's I think there pretty cool especially now with all the Augmented Reality apps there are for cell phones and suckI used to think AR was kind of useless, but I now see how handy it can be, and hopefully will help pave the way for HMD's getting more popular.

Well it is kinda like the Matrix to the point too and this came out over a decade earlier
Some of the VR stuff was cool and I love watching movies about technology just because it's always wrong Hackers for ex. LOL.. Firewall with Harrison Ford is the most realistic hacker movie I seen yet
I too can't believe this is on the bottom 100, the first movie was good I mean sure far fetched but the concepts and all
Just hard to see how people can hate on this so much when it's like making a WoW server for people to live in instead of real life, or you could kinda compare it to Surrogates even
I think that just shows how innovative this movie was when it came out!

Yeah, I liked it, it's a fun little watch, only problem I had was that it was a sequel to the Lawnmowerman, because it didn't feel like it. It could have been a great stand-alone movie, but it's not as bad as it's made out to be, in fact the rating surprised me.

Six year late reply. Personally, I liked the film but the first film was better. I only saw it once about 15 years ago so perhaps it hasn't aged well. However, I don't know why it's in the bottom 100. I'm a great fan of Matt Frewer from his Max Headroom days so perhaps that's blinded me!

I liked it back when I was eleven/twelve.
Suffice it to say, my tastes have been refined since then.
