        That's one of the least popular parts of the play and often omitted.
        Paris has done nothing wrong, and there's already had enough tragedy. Romeo's posthumous image as a hero of the town is also much more believable if he hasn't just assassinated a Count.
        Now, if Paris was a hateful character, it would be different.

          Agreed. By this point in the story, the focus should be on Romeo and Juliet's deaths.
          So many stories, so little time.
