No. In fact some of us think this is a masterpiece and although not his best, definetley Quentin's most mature work to date. In fact as far as crime pictures go, it one of the best of the past 3 decades.

I'm sorry I do not agree. This was a great stand-alone film to me; worthy of multiple watches and increasing enjoyment of each viewing, and the best film by QT IMO.

One of my top ten movies. An Elmore Leonard plot that towers above mere studio scripts, QT tweaking it, a great cast, well acted. It's a clever subtle movie that you can watch again and again for both memorable screen gems and nuances that you haven't noticed before. If you can't see the difference between this cine masterpiece and TV junk, you should stick to watching TV.

I am watching it right now. Over rated? Well, I don't recall the critics or fans loving it when it first came out so I don't think I would say it was over rated. Not my favorite QT film, but I love the cast and the soundtrack.
