yes you are not crazy man. This one maybe looks too serious and real but I love fun in Pulp Fiction more, coz its fiction. What I like is, its so unpredictable. Just like quentin know what we are thinking and he just twist our mind around.

No, youre mighty sane for thinking so. RD & PF are great as well - especially the latter - but it is here that everything comes together. The "intellectual" substance and the technique. Certainly one of the best films of the 1990s.

In my opionion yes you are, if you didn't know that this was a tarantino flick, without any of the music giveaways and watched this along side his other movies in my opinion it is his most dull flick. It doesn't match his usual style of movie making and even pulp fiction isn't his best. His best two movies are kill bill (both parts count as one movie) and reservoir dogs by a long way.

I think the thing about JB that makes it so great has more to do with Elmore Leonard than Quentin. You can see films that are written solely by him. Compare it to this flick, which is based on some very good source material. I think you have to work hard to screw up Elmore Leonard.

Agreed. Most people would say its his worst film but come on. Kill Bill And deathproof ( both watchable, but not high caliber like most QT movies ) are his worst entries to date. Jackie Brown isn't as fast paced of a movie and I think a lot of people who dislike this movie must have short attention spans. Plus this has my top two actors(Sam jack and bobby d) side by side

This is by far my most all time favorite movie. I've literally seen it over 30 times and counting. You really have to see this on DVD or premium cable. Whenever it's on basic cable channels, they edit the hell out of it which doesn't do it any justice.
The soundtrack is incredible too! This was the first time I've seen Pam Grier (aside from her appearance on one of bathe Cosby Show episodes, and I love her and her character. I've always loved Samuel L Jackson and Robert DeNiro too.
Shame so many of the characters were killed or there could have possibly been a sequel.

JB remains Quentin's best work, as of time of typing. He has never made a bad full length movie. Although I'm not a big fan of IB his style, however, has become somewhat Pass and over referential. He was at the height of his powers and made a true cultural stamp in the 90's. For him JB remains that decades crowing achievement.

This film is so severely under appreciated.
It is my favourite QT film and my second favourite film ever! It is brilliantly paced, the writing is awesome and Pam Grier is a goddess.

Not crazyjust probably not often agreed with.
But that's okay. (In fact, SOMETIMES that seems to indicate that you're smarter or have better taste than most. 
In this instance, I don't agree myself, as it's definitely not my favoritebut I certainly do like it quite well.

Not crazy at all Its my favourite QT film without a doubt, the music, characters and especially Pam Grier she could read the back of a serial box to me and Id happy listen for hours. Robert Forster and Sam Jackson are spot on and I liked De Niros reserved performance very much. And did I mention the music. Across 110th street by Bobby Womack is a stone cold classic, not to mention Street Life by Randy Crawford I expected some Curtis Mayfield buts thats probably why QT didnt go there to obvious.
