pvd, I actually agree with you! Thanks for pointing out the mindset of these women. The same ones who are so "offended" by Trump's comments from a decade ago of what he
could
get away with, not what he
did
get away with.
It's these same kind of women who break their necks to get to these 50 Shades films! You know, the ones who are so "horribly offended" by Trump!
I would never see those films even if you paid me but one day on talk radio the caller was mentioning that the woman gets flogged with a whip.
These women flock to this stuff and will even go there by themselves because they just can't wait! This is their idea of entertainment?
That Mr. Clean commercial has been airing for weeks now and I found it creepy then as I still do now. -

If the commercial was that of a man watching an animated woman with physical endowments in tight white uniform, who then comes to life as an overweight unattractive female dresses rather sloppy, and the emotion on the guy's face changes, would they find the commercial great? Would they still be entertained by it - with Sunny playing it over and over again?

Nothing wrong with having a 'sexy man' selling cleaning products in the commercial - as a gay male, I'm all for it! Just like the sexy Fireman who shows up and puts out 'heartburn' in another commercial. I think it's funny and great - and sells the product, which it is supposed to do. However,

How many of those T&A commercials (from chicken wings to cars) you refer to have the sexy woman turning into an over-weight, sloppy, unattractive woman once the 'fantasy' is over?
How many times in the past 35-40 years has a male talk show host said to his colleagues on TV: "There's nothing sexier than coming home and finding my wife cooking dinner and cleaning the house for me. Give her a bottle of Windex and have her clean the windows - and I'm telling you, she's never been sexier" ?
I honestly think your comprehension skills are on the level of James Avalon.

Not taking sides here, but I agree with above. I think the simple message was husbands doing household chores makes them sexier.
I personally did not see it as sexist or objectifying, but I understand why it may be viewed that way.

So the question - once again - is: Would the women find the commercial all that funny if it was a sexy woman who turned into a fat, sloppy, unattractive 'wife' in front of a man?
Would the women agree if a man said (on TV) 'There's nothing sexier than coming home and seeing my wife cook dinner and clean the house for me. It's sexy when I see her with a bottle of Windex cleaning the windows' ?

Then you see an innocuous commercial where a woman isn't half naked and want to take to the streets in protest. You don't genuinely give two s****s about the "double standard". I don't know about you but I don't know too many men that act the way these commercials are portraying them?
This is just a bunch of hateful liberal feminist supporters who are pushing these negative images of men on the mass public through their liberal owned TV networks. Same thing with all of the main stream liberal owned news networks. -
