So many cliche's!

Well I could go through and list them, but that would mean re-subjecting myself to one of the crappiest movies I have ever seen.
Instead I'll just leave it at that and let those of us who can spot a cliche (or 10) know how much of an unoriginal movie this is and those who can't to be blissfully unaware.
The only original thing about this movie were some of the characters. -

Or you could list even a few off the top of your head. I get the feeling that you're trolling here. Most movies have cliches in them. I didn't see any more in here than I did in any other movie.
Blah blah quote blah.

Well, how about the underground agents that suddenly stop their progress and declare that they will need a special form to knock down the wall and then Hellboy just smashes it down? That's pretty cliche.

That's not a cliche, that's a plot. A cliche would be if it were exceedingly common in cinema for the aforementioned rogue cop to disregard a request for documents and destroy a government structure with his fists.

with his fists
Ah. Well then, since he used his fists I guess this would be a completely brand new concept in movies.
If he had used a gun or his feet that would have been old news.

You present a middle-ground myopia here. There are plot devices that are neither cliches nor innovative concepts but rather well-established solutions. Cliche is a plot device that is played to the bone. "Unruly officer" is just a staple character establishing element.
And you know what? This is a supernatural adventure flick. Some genre-specific devices and even cliches are expected to be found. -

I remember one of the top of my head and I only saw this in the pictures when it came out.
Hellboy and the surly old guy that works for the same agency who are always at eachothers throats through the whole film suddenly bonding over the right way to light a cigar. -

I'm always amused by people who complain that they "wasted two hours of their lives" watching a film. What exactly would you have done with those precious two hours? Written a sonnet? Cured cancer? Brought peace to the Middle East? Done the dishes and taken a dump? Watched something else?

How about the most tired and overused cliche: the young sidekick. Does every movie that comes out these days require a young sidekick so the 12 year olds have something to relate to? Even when I was 12 I thought young sidekicks were lame.

He kept tagging along and shouting "Wait", reminding me of an overzealous and annoying teenager. Other than having to endure that wannabe sidekick, I liked the film.
