Keyboard fell on flooranyway, the voice acting still mkes me laugh to this day, "Nodon't open..that door" "Take this lockpick, Jill. It might come in handy if you, the master of unlocking, take it." It just isn't as funny unless you've actually heard it. Especially the master of unlocking line!

In that time (1996), on the beginning of speaking games (before playstation there was only super nintendo and etc), the voices itself used not to have deserved attention. Thats why it got ridiculous, no one in Capcom was really concerned about that. As you can see, nowadays it got a 180 degree about it. Some game dubbing became classics like David Hayter in Metal Gear Solid and "Carl Johnson's" voice from GTA San Andreas(i dont know his name). Now, the voice on character has became so important as the characther himself

It can be fully translated into English and vice versathe problem is that some translations are better than others, not that the language is too hard to translate.

Capcom never recorded any Japanese dialog, all of it was in English. They did it to immerse players in the setting which was a forest/town in mid-western America.
