Am I the only one who thought it was little funny?

The 'funnyness' comes out when observing how 'the amant' is becoming increasingly exasperated with the behavior of his 'beloved'. When looking at her in isolation her actions are chilling (well, except for the sniffing of the spunked tissues in the pornbooth).
Most hilarious though, was her untimely escape over the ice with her skirt on her ankles, that was priceless
In this sense Haneke fully succeeded in his intention to make the viewer feel uneasy with his own reactions to the experiences of the main characters. Especially the end scene, when she is stabbing herself is pure horror. It is to the credit of the marvelous actress Isabelle Huppert that Haneke pulled of this script.

Yes I thought it was a rip roaring barrel of laughs, that's for sureparticularly the part where she vomits after he's laid on top of her with his dk down her throat. I'm sure there's plenty of women out there who felt like vomiting after a guy has stuck his ck in her mouthyippy yi yay ya'llnow you know how most women really feel about it and it's there in all it's glory for all to see!
A lot of alliteration from anxious anchors placed in powerful posts! -

It was the mother who made it funny. And i think many of the scenes between Erika and Walter were supposed to be blackly humorous. And yeah i laughed when the mother got put in the room the second time and she said "this is unbelievable".

No one has mentioned the scene in the drive-in movie where she gets busted peeping at the couple in the car. This was the only really hilarious moment in the film, though there were a lot of other places where I found myself laughing rather nervously.

There are people that, when uncomfortable with something, star laughing. I am one of those people, no doubt - and yes I did laugh at some parts but mostly because of Huppert's genius performance and moments that were just too strange. Maybe many people that replied to this comment are of this kind.

I can see that some of this was humorous but I don't feel it because I found Erika's situation and the events that befall very distressing. Her mother, perfectly played by Anne Giradot, was funny at points because she was so ridiculous but ridiculous in a ghastly way that I might laugh at to protect myself from the horror of her rapacious possession of her daughter.
